Who we are
Latte and Melanie Goldstein are the founding partners of River Design.
About Latte
From as early an age as I can remember, I have always loved to draw and paint. I have fond memories of my first Disney colouring-in books! Well, not much has changed. New York born and bred, I moved to the UK after graduating from the Philadelphia College of Art (UARTS) having studied Illustration. I worked as a freelance illustrator for numerous magazines, newspapers and advertising agencies in Miami, London and latterly in Scotland before starting River Design in 1994.
About Melanie
I graduated from the Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art, Dundee in Fine Art. I'm a bit of a designaholic and can see design in everything; I'm always keen to try new ideas. I'm also a total 'go green' fanatic ... if its organic, toxic free, vegan I've got it! Before River Design I worked as an in-house designer for a number of Edinburgh design companies.
